Whether you’ve got a dog who thinks they run the house (because they do), or a cat who definitely does, our Pet Tag Making Workshop is the creative day out you never knew you needed. Come play with fire (literally), metals, and stamps to create a custom handmade pet tag your furry friend will proudly strut around in.

Forget off-the-shelf options — this is your chance to design something totally personal, made by your own hands (and maybe a bit of fluffy supervision from Cedar, our studio assistant 🐶).

What Happens at the Workshop?
Here’s a sneak peek at the magic (and a little metal dust) behind the scenes:

1. Pick Your Metal – Brass, Copper, or Silver?
Start by choosing your tag’s base—maybe rustic copper, shiny brass, or go luxe with sterling silver. Think about your pet’s vibe. Sassy street cat? Cool brass. Floofy posh dog? Silver it is.

2. Pick a Shape – Bone, Heart, or Something Totally You
You’ll choose from a range of fun shapes (or sketch your own!)—bones, hearts, stars, classic discs, or even a fun completely unique shape. You’ll also decide the size so it suits your pet perfectly, whether they’re a lapdog or a chunky monkey.

3. Cut It Out Like a Pro
With a jeweller’s saw in hand (don’t worry, we’ll show you how), you’ll cut your tag from sheet metal.

4. File It Fancy
Next, we smooth out the edges and finesse your shape using files. No sharp bits, no awkward corners—just clean lines and polished edges ready for the next step.

5. Time to Heat Things Up – Annealing
This is where it gets toasty. You’ll gently heat your tag until it softens enough to take the imprint of stamps. It’s safe, beginner-friendly, and we promise you’ll feel very cool doing it.

6. Stamp It with Love
Add your pet’s name, your phone number, or a cheeky phrase. We’ve got a whole collection of metal stamps for letters, numbers, and even symbols like paws, stars, moons, and more to make it reflect your pet’s personality.

7. Add the Final Touches
We’ll polish, punch a hole for the keyring, and get that tag ready to clip onto a collar. Voilà! One-of-a-kind, made-by-you, stylish as heck.
